When looking for a job in the insurance industry, which position would you chose as a safety professional?
As a safety professional – you want loss control.
Risk management is all about identifying the risks, and deciding how to manage them – whether avoiding them, trying to transfer the risk to a business associate or insurance company, or assuming the risk.
Loss control is the whole safety thing – that is, you already have the exposure, you just need to try to minimize potential losses. Loss control is more "hands on" than the risk management, IMO.
what’s an audit security tool, and what s an audit
Audit = honest look at what a subject consists of
Security Audit = above in relation to what a computer (stand alone unit or entire system) has for protection from destabilizing effects from internal or external threats.
Others may exists, but I only know of 1; Blink (from ‘e-eye’).
I am trying to connect my laptop to my sister’s wireless network (linksys) and it is asking for a network security key. Someone else set up the network and neither my sister nor my brother-in-law know what the password is. I tried to access the ip address (192.168.1.1) but it is asking for a logon name and password- again- don’t have one. any help is appreciated. thanks
Hi,
this is easy just look at the back of your router and there will be a small hole, just push a pin into it for longer then 6 Sec’s and Bingo your router will be reset back to factory settings again (NO WEP etc), hope this helps you, and don’t forget to reset your WEP and MAC up again will you.
I have two Win-XP computers on a network with File Sharing set without password/user. One computer can be accessed, the other says: "Logon Failure: the user has not been granted…" I tried to check the Security Policy settings but it’s not in the Admin. Tools folder…(On either computer!).
are you xp-home?

Since the early part of this decade, supply chain risk management has become increasingly more recognized as a critical part of corporate strategy. The move to leaner, global supply chains and events such as severe weather and financial instability have highlighted the risk of disrupted supply. Traditional approaches to supply chain risk management have focused on risk assessment and mitigation; but there is another side. Despite the best planning and preparation, not all events can be anticipated. When unplanned events occur, a company must be prepared to respond quickly and effectively or risk suffering financial and customer service losses.
Read this whitepaper to learn more about the capabilities required to support the two sides of supply chain risk management mitigation and response.
