EWB challenge 2010 – Kooma Nation at Murra Murra

The Engineers Without Borders Australia (EWB) Challenge (the Challenge) is an Australasian design program for first-year university students. As part of their curriculum students work in teams to develop conceptual designs for sustainable development that contribute towards real international development projects. Since the Challenge inception in 2006 there has been a steady increase in university and student participation to 27 universities and approximately 7000 students Australia-wide.

Students design solutions for an EWB community partner for projects ranging from water supply and quality, sanitation, waste management, energy supply, transport, permaculture and infrastructure development. Participating universities nominate reports that are reviewed by a judging panel and awards are made to outstanding contributions. The designs are given to the program partner for trial or implementation. Our most recent Challenge will see many of the student designs to be implemented/tested on the Tonle Sap in Cambodia by NGO Live and Learn.

In 2010 the Challenge partner is the Kooma Traditional Owners Association. Dan Loden, Challenge Coordinator, Kooma traditional owner Chery Buchanan, EWB CEO Daniel Almagor and Rob Skinner MD of Melbourne Water talk about the property and some background for the Challenge 2010 students in this video.

I have 11 years of IT experience in;

IT Training(FIT, VB 6, Oracle 7.3, MS Office, C, C++, Hardware & Internet Concepts),

Development (FoxPro & COBOL) and

MIS Operations (Document Management Systems, Baan Modules Coordination & MS Technologies Support for Production Departments)

Now, I want change my Career into Software Industry/BPO.

Can I make entry in software industry by doing SAP or other that fit my proofile to ease in getting job on earliest and make myself satisfied with it.

Please guide me in this.
